How to Access the Pet Bus CamThe Pet Bus is the first pet transportation company in the nation allowing you to see & hear your pets during transit. Our system also allows for you to speak to you pet as well. There’s no other pet cam system like this in today’s pet travel industry. The Pet Bus Cam is very easy to access and you can view it from anywhere. If you already have Skype installed on your computer, you can simply click this button to access the Pet Cam. If you don't have Skype yet, please follow the instructions below. To access The Pet Bus Pet Cam, you will need to use Skype. Skype is a free application which you can download from the Skype web site at http://www.skype.com. There is no charge to access the Pet Cam using Skype, and you do not need a web cam. Skype works best on a broadband Internet connection. It may not work on dial-up connections. After downloading Skype, follow the instructions to install Skype on your computer. Once you have installed Skype, open Skype, and under the Account menu, select Create Account. Follow the steps to create your account. Next, under the Contacts menu, select Add a Contact. Type thepetbus into the search box and click the search button. You should see The Pet Bus in your search results. Click on The Pet Bus and then click the Add Contact button. You will now see The Pet Bus in your list of contacts. You are now ready to access the Pet Cam! In your contact list, click on The Pet Bus and then click on the round green button with the phone icon. If The Pet Bus is in an area with Internet access, you should soon be connected to the Pet Cam and you'll be able to see your pet on board. The Pet Cam is connected to speakers, so if you have a microphone on your computer you can say hello to your pet. When you are finished with your Pet Cam session, you can click the red hang up button. Please limit viewing sessions to 5 or 10 minutes to conserve bandwidth and to allow others to use the camera. Sessions longer than 15 minutes may automatically disconnect. Note that there are often times when The Pet Bus will be out of range and unable to access the Internet. Also, we turn the camera off at night. If you can't connect to the Pet Cam during the daytime, please try again later.
