Pet Travel Crate

According to USDA regulations, transported pets must have adequate room to sit up, turn around and lay down in their natural position. When estimating the size of the kennel needed for your pet, please add at least 6 inches to the length and height of your pet.

The safety, comfort, and well-being of transported animals is our number one priority. If, prior to transport, our driver determines that a larger kennel size is required to accommodate your pet, you will be charged for the upgrade to a larger kennel.

Helpful measurement tips for selecting your pet's ideal travel crate:

1. Measure the length of your pet when standing: from the base of the tail to the tip of the nose.

2. Measure the height of your pet when standing: from the floor to the top of the head or ear, whichever is highest off the ground.

The web site petmate.com is also a good resource. We also recommend using Pet Mate Sky Kennel carriers when traveling by air. Your crate may not be the collapsible type. Remember to make sure that your crate is airline approved!
